Presentations from HP will follow, showing its latest notebook and tablet business solutions.
Pegasus software, Spindle Pro, Qlikview, Sophos and Dell Sonicwall will also demonstrate how the latest products and technologies can benefit your business.
The day will end with KC presenting its new fibre optic, lightning-speed broadband, Lightstream, which has begun to roll out across the region.
KC's Lee Hampston, who will be presenting at the open day, said: "Since we launched KC Business Lightstream, we've connected more than 150 customers to the service and their feedback has been fantastic.
"I'm looking forward to sharing all the details of Lightstream and the benefits it's delivering to local businesses."
Genesis will also take to the stage to discuss how mobile app development can be utilised for businesses with tablet and smartphone devices.
Genesis has been established for more than 25 years but it has been ten years since it held an open day.
Mr Pykett said: "We really feel now is the time for it.
"That's why we've called it the Emerging Technologies open day."
On the day there will be prize giveaways, including an iPad 3 up for grabs.
Clients will be able to browse stalls on the day, as well as listen to the 30-minute presentations.
There is also chance to pre-register for Windows 8 on the day.
Emerging Technologies will be held on Thursday, September 20. Pre-registration is required. Registration starts at 9.30am with the event held from 10am to 4pm. Entrance is free and lunch is provided. Visit www. genesisit.co.uk to book.
