Among the treasures uncovered on the valuation day were two Russian dolls, an Irish gin flask and a large saw used, believed to be from a store display.

However, the biggest surprise for the team came from Ann Bromley, from Cleethorpes, who took along what she believed to be a collection of African tribal art.

However, they sold for an astonishing £30,000.It turned out the collection stored in the wardrobe was Aboriginal and contained a rare Broad Shield, bought by the Sydney Museum of Primitive Art and since returned to Australia.
