These children seen patting the hounds in November 1978 may have come from the Kirmington, Wootton and Ulceby areas.

They were attending the Brocklesby Hunt's first meet of the season – by tradition held at the home of their joint master, the Earl of Yarborough.

The Earl (centre) served on the Brigg magistrates' bench at the time. Seen with him are Lady Yarborough and huntsman Cooper Atkinson.

If you can help identify any of these children from 33 years ago, please e-mail nigel.fisher@ gsmg.co.uk or write to Nigel Fisher, Scunthorpe Telegraph, 4-5 Park Square, Laneham Street, Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire, DN15 6JH.
