Photographers put new premises in the frame
TWO Hull photographers with a successful theatre, wedding and PR business are moving to new premises.
Louise Buckby and Karl Smit met on a course at Hull College in 2003.
They founded Karl Andre Photography to turn their hobby into a livelihood.
The business, currently based at their home and an industrial estate, provides corporate photographs, wedding portraits and promotional pictures for plays.

Louise deals with the theatrical side and in September set up Grazia Louise Photography to keep it distinct so the original business Karl Andre Photography can focus solely on corporate work.
She said: "Theatre companies get me in to do dress rehearsals and use the images to promote the play.
"I love it because every play is different and I love the theatrical environment."
Louise's pictures are used to promote productions at Hull Truck and York Theatre Royal.
Louise said: "We've been looking for somewhere for about three years now.
"At the moment we work from home and we have an industrial storage unit we don't particularly like – it doesn't look good.
"In Willerby Road, we're going to have a studio, offices and a flat upstairs to rent out."
Karl, a former worker in the offshore petrochemical industry, said: "I think we're looking at opening the new premises in a couple of months.
"It will be nice to have everything under one roof and it will be a nice space for clients."
The transaction was handled by Richard Topham at Topham Larard.
