Plan for flats at old courthouse
PLANS are being submitted to convert Brigg's old courthouse into apartments.
An investment of £400,000-plus will be made on the property on Wrawby Street, subject to planning permission.

CONVERSION: Property developer Karl Ellis with partner Hannah Shepherd and their 20-month son Finley outside the old courthouse in Brigg, which they hope to convert into apartments.
The site has been bought by businessman Karl Ellis from Caistor.
Mr Ellis said: "I'm looking to develop luxury apartments over the two floors.
"A building of this significance deserves a sympathetic and quality redevelopment."
Mr Ellis is hoping to get planning permission from North Lincolnshire Council and then start work on the five apartments in the summer.
The plan is to finish next year and then put the apartments on the market.
They will be one or two-bedroom apartments.
Subject to market conditions, prices may start from around £90,000 and go up to around £140,000.
All the developments will be over two storeys and there is parking at the rear and easy access to the main shopping area.
Mr Ellis said: "I lived in Brigg for seven years and I always admired this property and I'm looking forward to developing this site."
If the project gets the go-ahead it will lead to work for local trades people while it is developed.
The courthouse site was put on the market by agents PPH Commercial only late last year.
PPH partner Charles Atkinson said: "We are looking forward to seeing what the future holds for the building and I am sure Karl will be very successful in his project."

“hope they are making parking places for these dwellings ,all buildings now should provide parking off road , you could say two cars to each dwelling streets now over crowded with cars , any conversions now should provide parking for each dwelling for at least one car off road or planning permission should be with drawn”
