Brass - Iron players have bought into the new style of play
ASSISTANT boss Chris Brass says the Iron's players have quickly bought into the new management team's style of football.
Scunthorpe tackle QPR at Glanford Park this afternoon in their first home game since Alan Knill's installation as manager a week ago.
-

RESPONSE: Assistant boss Chris Brass.
And although Brass admits he cannot guarantee a positive result against the Championship leaders, he insists there will be a big improvement in the quality of their performance on the back of a 6-0 hammering at Norwich City.
"We've trained how we expect it this week, had a quick chat about what I expect and I then gave the players an understanding of what the manager expects," said Brass.
"They bought into it straight away.
"I don't think they're frightened of hard work, they just want to get out and do it.
"I don't like it when people say players aren't trying, because they are.
"Those lads are trying – sadly it's been a tough old season.
"But there are seven games left and you can never say never in football, or in life.
"I'd like to think they haven't given up the ghost just yet.
"Last weekend was a really tough weekend.
"But it's gone, whatever has happened in the past at a football club is gone."
