Police appeal after Crosby double stabbing
A MAN and a woman sustained knife wounds following an incident in Scunthorpe yesterday.
The pair, who have not been identified are currently being treated at Scunthorpe General Hospital.

It is not known how serious the injuries are.
A man is helping police with their enquiries.
A spokesman for Humberside Police explained officers were called to an address on Digby Street, Crosby, at 2.43pm on Saturday.
A section of Mulgrave Street, which is at the junction of Digby Street was cordoned off by police.
Forensics teams examined the scene of the crime yesterday.
Ambulance crews were called to the scene just before 3pm.
One resident who wished to remain anonymous said: "We saw the police vans and cars arrive on the road just before 3pm but we have no idea what has happened.
"It looks serious as there are so many officers at the junction and they have taped off the road."
Another resident, who wished to remain anonymous, said: "I did not see what happened but you could see blood on the pavement outside the house."

“interesting that people are jumping to conclusions that it is members of the hard working eastern european community who get paid minimum for anything they do and are not eligible for any benefits whatsoever until they have been here for two years. YES send them back and make all the lazy english scum (who havent worked for years claiming invalidity benefit driving new cars and having every latest plasma screens etc and swanning off to Bulgaria for their holidays en masse) do the jobs they do !”
