Man dies after being found by roadside in Westwoodside last night
Police are appealing for information in connection with an incident in Westwoodside, following the death of an 83-year-old man.
The man was walking westbound along Cove Road, Westwoodside, in the direction of Idle Bank, when a member of the public notified police due to a concern for his welfare.
The incident took place just after 5.50am on Wednesday, February 6.
Police arrived and the man was found collapsed at the roadside with head and facial injuries.

He died a short time later.
At this time, police have not established the cause of the man's death, however it is not thought to be suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen the man prior to police attendance and in particular a silver coloured vehicle which may have been travelling in the area.
