Ashby 'blade threat' incident - police appeal for witnesses
Police are appealing for help in locating the driver of a vehicle who may be able to assist with enquiries into an incident in Scunthorpe.
Just after half past 11pm on Sunday, December 16 a 50 year old man exited a vehicle and walked a short distance between Everest Road and Grange Lane South in Scunthorpe when he felt something hit him on the back of the head.

He was then approached by a man riding a mountain bike, with white writing on the crossbar, who got off the bike and is alleged to have asked the man for money.
The 50 year old man stated he did not have any and the offender is reported to have threatened him with appeared to be a bladed article.

A vehicle then slowly came around the corner and when it came to stop, close to the incident, the offender got on his bike and rode away in an unknown direction.
The make and model of the vehicle is not known, however police would appeal for the driver to come forward as they may have information which can assist police with their enquiries.
The offender is described as a male aged in his late teens, around 5ft 7ins tall and wearing a red hat, dark top with blue coloured arms. He spoke with a local accent.
The 50 year old man did not sustain any injuries in the incident and nothing was reportedly stolen.
The driver of the vehicle and anyone who may have information in connection with the incident is asked to call Humberside Police on 101 quoting crime reference 1947916.
