Police and fire crews were called to the scene of a road traffic collision on the A18 Mortal Ash Hill, near Scunthorpe.
The single-vehicle collision happened at around 5.40pm between the junction for the B1398 towards Kirton in Lindsey and the Briggate Lodge (Forest Pines) roundabout.
The vehicle caught fire and firefighters from Humberside Fire and Rescue Service used a hose reel to extinguish the flames.
Police say the male occupant of the vehicle suffered minor injuries.
