Police investigate suspected assault
Detectives are appealing for information in connection with a suspected assault which happened in Scunthorpe.
A 20-year-old man is alleged to have been assaulted at an incident which took place on August 31 between 5am and 5.30am on Oswald Road.
The alleged assault caused the man to require hospital treatment for a suspected broken jaw.
A 20-year-old man and a woman were walking together close to The Light, when two men began walking towards them. The two men and the couple engaged in conversation, before one of the men is alleged to have assaulted the 20-year-old man.

Police arrested a 19-year-old man and a 20-year-old man in connection with the incident. They have both been released on bail to a date in October pending further inquiries.
