Officers are investigating the sale of suspicious tablets in the Westcliff area of Scunthorpe.
Police are asking people to be vigilant following reports that a number of possibly suspicious tablets are being sold in the area.

The tablets have been described to police as plain blue tablets, often reffered to as "TURBO".
They are believed to have the same effects as some illegal substances.

At this time police do not know exactly what it is that is contained within the tablets, however a warning is issued to remind people to be aware that any tablets sold on the streets and not obtained from a legitimate source can pose a danger to their health and well being.
Police have had no reports of anyone being taken ill and no arrests have been made in connection with this.
Members of the public are reminded to be vigilant and report anything of this nature to police by calling 101.
