Police probe attempted break-in at Tata Steel in Scunthorpe
Three men attempted to gain entry to a wooden security door at Tata Steel in Scunthorpe before being disturbed by a member of staff.
Police are investigating the incident in which a blue vehicle was driven on the site between 5pm and 5.30pm on February 24.

The men then drove away and nothing was stolen.
A spokesman for Tata Steel said: “We can confirm there were intruders, but they were disturbed by a member of our security staff and nothing was taken.”
