Potential transport hub could create employment
A proposed new transport hub could create jobs in East Yorkshire.
Kitchen maker Howdens Joinery is making changes to its transport network and will result in changes for DHL workers operating the Howdens Joinery contract.
Howdens is proposing to terminate its transport operations in Merseyside next month and relocate to a new transport hub in Howden.
A DHL spokesman said: "Subject to consultation, a new DHL hub will be established in Howden to service the North."
