The Prescott Express rolled in to North Lincolnshire as Lord Prescott took to the streets as part of his consultation with the public about the police and crime.

Lord Prescott has launched the minibus that will act as a mobile surgery for people to speak to the Labour candidate for the role of Humberside's first police commissioner about any concerns they have.

"It is important when setting policies that directly affect everyone in the region that we listen to what people want," he said. "I want to act as a people's voice, addressing the concerns of the public and ensuring their police service is the best it can be.

"I have found in almost 50 years of campaigning that the best thing to do is to get out on the road and meet folk.
