Price cuts at Scunthorpe petrol pumps tomorrow from Tesco, Asda and Morrisons
Supermarket chains Tesco, Asda and Morrisons will all cut fuel prices at Scunthorpe petrol stations tomorrow (Wednesday, March 13).
Asda says it will cut 3p a litre on unleaded and 2p a litre on diesel at its petrol stations tomorow meaning customers will pay no more than 141.7p a litre on diesel and 134.7p a litre on unleaded.Andy Peake, petrol trading director said: "We always aim to be the first retailer in each part of the country to drop prices when costs are falling and the last to put them up.

"When we do drop prices, we drop them everywhere, setting a maximum national price cap for our customer, which means they all benefit from our low prices, regardless of where they live."
Morrisons has announced that it will be cutting the price of fuel by up to 2p-a-litre on unleaded and 2p-a-litre off diesel at its petrol stations.

Mark Todd, Petrol Director for Morrisons, said: "We're keen to pass on any drop in wholesale prices to customers as soon as we can and this latest price cut means we'll continue to offer some of the lowest prices on the market."
Tesco has announced a 3p a litre cut on both diesel and unleaded.Peter Cattell, Petrol Category Director at Tesco said: "Tesco is dropping the price of both petrol and diesel by up to 3p per litre from tomorrow morning.
"As Britain's biggest petrol retailer with 496 forecourts, more motorists make savings at Tesco pumps than at any other fuel retailer, with the added benefit of collecting Clubcard points on every pound they spend.
"This move is just one of the ways we are offering our customers an extra helping hand."

“Load of rubbish. Tesco in Brigg only cut fuel by 2p a litre as of Friday. So Peter Cattell is factually incorrect in his statement.”
