The winning balloon was found by a Mr Wright of Barnetby, and both he and Mr Murray, the guest that launched the well-travelled balloon, will now receive £100 each in hotel vouchers as their prize.
Murray Scott, managing director of Scott Hotels commented: "It's amazing how far these balloons have travelled and, when you consider the weather challenges the UK has faced since the turn of the year, it's amazing they are even still in the country!
