Pubs in high spirits as magic of Hallowe'en sends profits soaring
Hallowe'en has now become the biggest earner behind Christmas and New Year for bars across North Lincolnshire.
Publicans are planning to cash in by making the horror party last from tomorrow (Friday, October 28) until Monday (October 31), which is the time for the traditional ritual.

And for revellers wanting to get into the spirit of things, there are plenty of events to choose from – and they're all offering a little piece of seasonal magic.
The spooky fun kicks off with a children's party at the Brumby Hotel, Scunthorpe, from 6pm to 7.30pm tomorrow.
There are similar fun and games at the town's Harry Charlesworth bar from 4pm until 9pm on Sunday.
Over at the Priory Hotel in Scunthorpe, the landlord will host a children's party on Sunday from 6pm to 8pm.
Scunthorpe United Supporters Club are making sure the mums and dads are not left out the ghoulish goings-on by organising an adult Hallowe'en party at the Ashby Mill Road Club in Scunthorpe on Saturday from 7.30pm onwards.
The Jolly Sailor at Gunness is also hosting an adult party from 9pm onwards on Saturday.
But first, from 6pm to 8pm, it will be the turn of the village kids to scare the lives out of everyone.
There is a Hallowe'en fancy dress party too on Saturday at the Star Inn in Ashby, with Zimmerband providing the music.
Not to be outdone, the nearby Malt Shovel on Ashby High Street has organised a Hallowe'en special with Identity Crisis on Saturday night.
A family party has been arranged at the town's oldest club, the Ashby Constitutional, this Sunday from 1pm to 4pm.
The children are promised a few treats and entertainment from Flossie.
To get people really shivering, a ghost walk has been organised from the White Horse in Brigg at 7pm on Monday.
