Quizzing for hospital boss
THE chief executive of the trust which runs Scunthorpe General Hospital has been quizzed about health services in the region.
Karen Jackson was the guest of Scunthorpe MP Nic Dakin at his latest People's Panel event.

In the hour-long question and answer session, Mrs Jackson faced questions on financial savings the trust is required to make.
She was also asked whether plans are in place to change the current maternity services in Scunthorpe.

On maternity services, she explained commissioners who buy services for the hospital had produced a vision of the type of services they wish to buy.
She said: "We are working up the options to deliver the services they want to buy. That could be a range of options.
"These options will have to be worked up properly and then, there will have to be a formal public consultation."
Mrs Jackson said the Northern Lincolnshire and Goole Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was required to make savings of around £60 million over a four-year period.
But she emphasised the importance of maintaining high standards of patient care.
