Having danced many times on a night out in the past to the loved Time Warp song, I was excited at the prospect of seeing the show behind what is such an iconic song, and the Rocky Horror Show now showing at the Grimsby Auditorium didn’t let me down, writes Jacqueline Mcleary.

As I took my seat among many people wearing red feather boas, stockings and suspenders - both men and women - I knew I was in for a fun but different night.

The cast, which included, as the main characters, Roxanne Pallett, of Emmerdale fame and Sam Attwater, of Eastenders, was of a very high standard - in song and dance.

The story of two young lovers thrown mysteriously one night into a world of Si-Fi, Horror and comedy, leaves you feeling that you have been transported to another world - one which is filled with quite a lot of provocative dancing and some quite powerful singing.

Many of the audience were very knowledgeable of both the songs and dialogue and proves how many people have followed this show for many years.

The show finishes with cast and audience on their feet doing the Time Warp and after such a professional, wonderful show, which everyone who has ever danced the Time Warp on a Saturday night like me shouldn’t miss, a fantastic treat.

The show runs until Saturday. Tickets are priced from £10-£29.50 from the box office on 0844 871 3016.
