Reducing the risk
finance: Deferred bonus schemes are reducing the risk culture within the UK's financial services sector, according to new research.
According to the research by Robert Half UK, 89 per cent of UK financial services executives believe deferred bonus schemes reduce risk.
The change in compensation structure is in direct response to the FSA Remuneration Code being adopted by regulated businesses.
Neil Owen, of Robert Half Financial Services, said: "Our survey has uncovered signs that deferred bonuses are reducing the short-term risk culture within the sector and providing the added benefit of aiding companies' retention efforts."
