Were you there when Reg Presley and Troggs headlined Scunthorpe United Stars of 1966 pop festival?
Troggs lead singer Reg Presley - who died this week from lung cancer at the age of 71 - made a memorable debut in Scunthorpe during the Sixties, recalls NICK COLE.
Just after With A Girl Like You hit the number one spot in the UK charts, The Troggs were booked as one of the headliners at the Stars of 1966 Festival at Scunthorpe United's Old Show Ground.
