SCUNTHORPE TELEGRAPH COMMENT: Relaunched team's efforts to put pride back into the town should be warmly welcomed
News that Scunthorpe Renaissance Town Team is to be relaunched should be warmly welcomed.
The group had worked well in the past and raised the profile of the town – and some of the issues that it faced – before it disbanded in 2011.

Now, by relaunching, it hopes it can work together to bring opportunities and investment to the town centres in both Scunthorpe and Ashby.

A 10-strong team has come together for the relaunch and are hoping to boost their numbers to 40.

So if you are unhappy with your town, do something about it.
Go to the Civic Centre at 6pm next Thursday and join the fight.
Support the town team and let's work together so we can all be proud of living in Scunthorpe.
