“This road was closed due to the road not being safe to use.Do people not understand ' Road Closed' the road is likely to collapse.People keep moving the bollards and driving through some drive up the footpath which is a danger to pedestrian's two schools just up the road accident waiting to happen.Obviously drivers can't read.”

“They repaired some pot holes on bottesford lane just before the snow came. The holes are back again... Useless.....”

“They had better close almost every road in Scunthorpe and Ashby pretty quickly then.
The state of our roads are a disgrace (apart from the one that runs past the Civic Centre, I wonder why that is).”

“I know it was alzheimer. If you read the threads the point I'm making is that nobody took responsibility of informing the motorists that the road was CLOSED. Only takes a temporary road sign to save a lot of hassle.”

“At least this one had signage. The bottom of Moorwell Road had a similar problem this morning but drivers had no advance warning of a water board man blocking the road until they were on top of him. All it needed was a sign on the mini roundabout.”

“Its amazing how many people in Scunthorpe can't read the roadsigns that quite clearly state road closed and still are driving up the road and then doing a 3 point turn or just driving through the bollards and onto the paths to get past!”

“They have taken to merging "newsish" snippets with the weather to justify their poor reporting. They are getting crafty as well as their Gestapo measures of denying free speech and the inability to complain about poor reporting standards.
I gather the hole is as a result of weather.”

“No, but a hole appearing in a road is news. Has some inconsiderate householder thrown it out of his garden into the street? If so that's fly tipping and an offence.”
