“Me and my friend Brian from Riddings were like groupies that day, we gathered with excitement at the train station with our union flags, tea towels and flasks to cheer her arrival. We then headed down to Asda as she made her way to the Lindsey Lodge Hospice where we joined the thongs of well wishers, we hung around until the Queen made the return journey and waved our flags with vigor. We then headed into town where we watch Her Majesty perform the official opening of the Parishes. What a fantastic day and me and Brian then parted, he going back to Kingerby Road whilst I headed back to Albert Marson Court, exhausted but thouroughly satisfied.”

“I remember baulking at how much her silly tour must have cost. Oh, and she has a massive plunger mouth, it doesn't show on the stamps.”
