SCUNTHORPE UNITED: Iron draw Accrington Stanley in Carling Cup
SCUNTHORPE United have been drawn away at Accrington Stanley in the first round of the Carling Cup.
It will provide the Iron with a first-ever visit to the League Two side's Crown Ground and their first meeting with Stanley since the pair clashed in the FA Cup in 1993, a match that was played at neighbouring Burnley's Turf Moor home.

Scunthorpe United manager Alan Knill will be taking his squad to The Crown Ground in August
The draw for the first round of the competition was made this morning, with Scunthorpe one of 17 seeded teams.
They will hope to go on a similar run to the past couple of seasons when they have reached rounds three and four of the League Cup and earned glamour ties with Premier League duo Manchester United and Manchester City.
The game at Accrington will see Iron forward Bobby Grant come up against his former club.
The first round match will take place on the week beginning Monday, August 8 - a few days after the Iron have begun their League One campaign.
League fixtures are revealed at 9am tomorrow morning.
