KILMARNOCK striker Conor Sammon says he is open to a move during the January transfer window – but not to Scunthorpe.

"United made me a good offer and it was a difficult decision but I decided the move was not right for me," he said.

"I do hope to play at the highest level I can but I do not have to jump at the first offer that comes along.

"We will see if anything happens later this month. If not, I am happy to stay and play for Kilmarnock."
