“Brian's DIY really does sell almost everything from the present and the past, need an old fitting or such it's the only place you will find it. I needed a couple of 22mm Hospital Fittings, I went to all trade merchants in Scunthorpe, no one knew what they were, I asked at Brian's, they fetched a young man to serve me, he was only person to know what they were as he studies all the catalouges when they get them, his boss ordered a box of 22mm and 15mm, they were much cheaper than I had found on eBay. Not the cheapest in many things but it costs money to stock slow moving goods and their service can't be beaten.”

“I am mystified by the picture. What has a spring clean got to do with it. The spirit of Christmas is destroyed by commercialism like this. Cue the TV adverts for sofas in time for Xmas and next years summer holidays.”
