He said: "I have had a lot of interest and it has worked well.
"Our busiest time comes in the winter because this is when people use their central heating most.
"I wanted to sign up for the Buy Local campaign as it is a big incentive for my business.
"I regularly advertise with the Telegraph but I want to attract new customers with these discounts.
"It is very important for local businesses like mine."
Mr Thorne has operated the business since April 2011 and previously spent 15 years as a self-employed bricklayer.
Mr Thorne said Premier Stove Installations has completed all the HETAS training courses.
He said: "We fit a stove in and link it up with your heating system.
"A client was spending £3,000 on oil for their oil burner and now we have reduced their bill.
"It is all about reducing bills and helping people save money."
Mr Thorne is a registered member of HETAS, which is the leading training provider for solid fuel, wood and biomass.
It offers courses specifically designed for installers, chimney sweeps, retailers, specifiers, local authorities and building control officers.
He is also a member of the Guild of Master Chimney Sweeps, the national association for chimney sweeps in the UK.
Mr Thorne has also employed a CORGI-registered plumber, so is now able to offer gas, plumbing, oil and central heating services.
