Scorpions will make journey to Newcastle with 'no hope'
SCUNTHORPE Scorpions travel to Newcastle tomorrow with 'no hope' of claiming a result.
With only one victory on the road all year and up against a strong Diamonds team, promoter Rob Godfrey expects his team to return empty-handed from the Premier League clash.

"We've got no hope, as much as Bob Hope," he said. "That one's dead and buried before we've even got there.
"No-one gets anything at Newcastle. It's a fortress for them.
"It's a technical track. You have to be a home rider that rides it every week to do well there.
"We're going to do our best.
"We've got to go with the belief that we're going to win races, but realistically Newcastle are so strong there."
Scunthorpe beat this year's Premier Trophy winners at the Eddie Wright Raceway earlier this month.
But they have already lost heavily at Newcastle, when guest Kalle Katajisto bagged 15 points for the visitors in a 59-31 defeat.
"We were extremely lucky against them the other week," said Godfrey.
"We've had a lot of bad luck this year, but we've probably used up our good luck now.
"We were poor there earlier in the season, but we had Kalle Katejisto, who saved us from total embarrassment."
