Scunthorpe Scorpions agree dates for speedway play-off final
HENDERSON INSURANCE Scunthorpe Scorpions have agreed provisional dates for the Premier League Play-Off final with the Somerset Rebels - should both teams progress.
The first leg is set to take place on Friday, October 26, at 7.30pm, at Somerset’s Oak Tree Arena. The second leg is pencilled in at the Eddie Wright Raceway on Sunday, October 28, at 4pm.

Somerset can clinch their place in the final by taking all three points from visitors Leicester at the Oak Tree Arena on Friday.
The Scorpions must wait for Workington to face Edinburgh home and away, with the final group match on Friday, October 19.

Workington need a win and a draw to progress, while Edinburgh require two wins.
Scunthorpe promoter Rob Godfrey said: "I hope people don’t think we are jumping the gun with this announcement. Of course, we have to acknowledge that neither Somerset nor ourselves are guaranteed a place in the final as yet.
"At the same time, we know many people like to make plans, no matter how provisional.
"The 4pm start-time of the provisional second leg is set to allow fans from all over the country to come and witness the Premier League decider."
