Scunthorpe have agreed confirmed dates for their clashes against the Edinburgh Monarchs.
The Scorpions travel up to Scotland to face the Monarchs this Friday (September 28) at 7.30pm.
The return Scunthorpe v Edinburgh fixture then takes place at the Eddie Wright Raceway on Sunday (September 30) with a start-time of 5pm.
There are also dates against Workington, but these are currently provisional.
The Scorpions travel to Derwent Park on Saturday, October 6 (7pm), with the return at the Eddie Wright Raceway on Sunday, October 7 (6pm).
To accommodate this final fixture, the start time final round of the Amateur Summer Championship (also taking place at the EWR on October 7) will be moved to 11am.
Scunthorpe promoter Godfrey said: “The play-off fixtures are absolutely huge meetings for this club. We’ve never in contention before for the Premier League championship.
“It’s no exaggeration to say that the meetings over the two weeks are the most important in the history of Scunthorpe Speedway.
“We’ve been in fantastic form leading into the play-offs, and I see no reason why we cannot qualify for the final.”
With both David Howe and Thomas Jorgensen on the injury list, the Scorpions have booked Kevin Doolan as a guest for Edinburgh on Friday, and Jason Bunyan for the visit of the Monarchs to the Eddie Wright Raceway on Sunday.
