Scunthorpe Telegraph Quiz League round-up
The latest round of questions in the Scunthorpe Telegraph Quiz League featured mostly entertainment and current affairs with a few general knowledge questions thrown in for good measure.
Robert Holme took over at the top after surprising defeats for Eagles and Bunch. Reigning champions Robert Holme defeated Sherpa in a tight squeeze by just two points. They kept their noses ahead throughout the contest and also won narrowly on the bonus count 8-7.
The questions certainly suited the Imps who trounced Table Tennis Club by a deservedly huge 28 points. They easily took the bonus count too and remain very much in contention for the first half of the season trophy in December.
Bunch suffered a shock defeat by a huge margin at home to Cricket Club. The visitors took control of the game in round four and never looked back. They also won on bonus count 8-6.
