Scunthorpe United allow Matt Godden to rejoin Ebbsfleet United on loan
STRIKER Matt Godden has today left Scunthorpe United to join Ebbsfleet United on loan for the second time this season.
The 21-year-old scored three times in five appearances for the Blue Square Premier League club before Christmas but was recalled by the Iron and has since been a regular on the substitutes' bench.

Matt Godden has left Scunthorpe United for a second loan spell with Blue Square Premier League club Ebbsfleet United.
The Fleet tried to re-sign Godden, who has just recovered from a whiplash injury, in January, but were told 'no' by Scunthorpe, who at the time were struggling for attacking options.
The arrival though yesterday of goalkeeper Eirik Holmen Johansen from Manchester City is likely to have created a need to try to free up funds and Godden has now been allowed to leave.

“You might as well give him away on a free lawsy, as he never gets the chance to play in the first team and must have cost a fortune over the years in wages. If he is not good enough why do we persist with him ."UP THE IRON"!!!”
