Scunthorpe United could move one step beyond threat of relegation if Portsmouth buy-out fails
Scunthorpe United could see the risk of relegation recede by one clear step if lowly Portsmouth were to be expelled from the Football League.
It is being suggested that might happen unless the Pompey Supporters' Trust buys the famous old club and takes it out of administration by the end of this season.
