Scunthorpe Utd 1 Newcastle 2: Will marathon effort hurt Iron?
For Scunthorpe United, last night's 2-1 defeat after extra-time against Newcastle United in the Carling Cup was a bad outcome for many different reasons.
One, it saw their participation in the competition come to an end at the second round stage.

Andy Barcham looks on as Newcastle celebrate their winner.
And, perhaps just as important, the clash at Glanford Park turned into a marathon effort lasting 120 minutes.
That second factor places the Iron at a disadvantage for tomorrow's trip to Sheffield Wednesday, but manager Alan Knill is determined to keep business as usual.
"It was the last thing we wanted but what can we do," said Knill of the cup contest going the distance.
"We will have a look at the players, see how they feel and take it from there.
"We will let them have a little bit more rest, then we will talk to them, show them Sheffield Wednesday, walk through set-pieces and take it from there.
"But it is unknown. We don't know whether it is going to be that much of a disadvantage until we get on the pitch on Saturday.
"I have hardly got a squad so it makes it difficult."
Chris Dagnall's opener was cancelled out by Ryan Taylor's 80th minute equaliser, before Sammy Ameobi struck for the Magpies deep into extra-time.
But, despite being disappointed by the result, Knill was happy with his side's display.
"I am pleased with the performance and pleased with the effort, but disappointed with the result," he continued.
"We gave them a game which was the big thing.
"When you go into the game against someone who is higher, you have to be positive and committed and I thought we were all that.
"But just, in the end, that little bit of quality showed."
* Iron midfielder Michael O'Connor, who missed last night's match with a muscular injury, will not be fit for tomorrow's Owls encounter.
