Scunthorpe Utd: Big goal could be key to Barcham's hopes of recall
Goal-scoring substitute Andy Barcham hopes his seventh strike of the campaign proves as valuable to his own season as it does the Iron's.
The former Gillingham winger has found himself relegated to the bench for the past couple of matches, but made an immediate impact when he replaced Mark Duffy at Leyton Orient on Saturday.

Barcham's first touch at Brisbane Road saw him slide in to meet Christian Ribeiro's inviting centre and put the Iron 2-1 in front with just five minutes to play.
The 25-year-old is hoping that effort will be enough to turn nine minutes into 90 when Walsall, the side directly below Scunthorpe in the table, visit Glanford Park tomorrow night.
If it isn't, he is sure patience will prove just as big a virtue as his ability to score big goals.
"It's always frustrating when you're not playing," Barcham told the Telegraph.
"But we've got some fantastic players here and everyone is going to be needed, as the gaffer keeps saying, in the lead up to the end of the season.
"We've got people coming back from injuries, as well as the new faces, so we've got more competition for places than we've had all season.
"There's good players that now can't even get in the squad on a matchday.
"The mood around the place at the moment though is that we'll all stick together and whoever is called upon to do the job will go out there and try their hardest."
Given the timing of his strike at Orient, a club where he spent five-a-half-months on loan four years ago, Barcham admits Saturday's was the 'biggest' of his magnificent seven this season, which also include two against the O's earlier in the campaign.
It also displayed what big strides he and his team-mates have made in the past few weeks.
"Obviously with Orient being the home team, they were going to keep pushing because they no doubt thought they could nick a win," added Barcham, of the 3-1 success.
"But we were always in the game, especially during the second half, when we created a few chances.
"Maybe a few weeks ago, this game would have gone a different way.
"Such is the belief in the team at the minute, with the way we're playing and with the buzz there is around the place, we've gone on and got a great three points.
"Six points out of six for last week is fantastic. It's exactly what we needed.
"It would be great to go on a run, because the games at the moment are coming thick and fast. That's what we're going to try to do.
"There's a lot football to be played and not every team is going to get back to back results.
"If we can do that, we can move away from the pack and start heading up the table."
