Scunthorpe Utd: Clean-sheet provides confidence booster for Johnstone
A first clean-sheet in claret and blue has left Sam Johnstone brimming with confidence.
The Scunthorpe United keeper helped his team to a goal-less draw at Brentford on Saturday as the Iron coped with the sending off of Andrew Wright 20 minutes from time.

Johnstone believes the result can now provide a platform on which United can build.
"I've not had a clean-sheet since I've been here," said the Manchester United loanee.
"And going down to 10 men, it was even more important because we only needed one chance to score, but unfortunately we didn't.
"It made everyone dig in. It shows how much of a team we actually are that we pulled off a 0-0 and kept a clean-sheet with 10 men.
"It just shows we are a good team and it was a good result.
"Hopefully we can keep the clean-sheets coming but score at the other end.
"We can build on it this Saturday now.
"Hopefully we can get another clean-sheet, I think that's the main thing – keep a clean-sheet and don't lose.
"We'll work all week until the next game and hopefully it can carry on."
The Scunthorpe shot-stopper was keen not to take too much of the credit himself, though has been pleased with the progress he's made at Glanford Park.
"It was a whole team effort really," he said.
"I didn't have too much to do, but it was good.
"You get confidence and I find it easier the more games I play because I'm playing with the same people.
"I know what to do know because I've worked with the team for a few weeks.
"I signed for another month, so it just proves hopefully the manager thinks I'm doing well."
