Scunthorpe Utd: Iron closing on new signings
Scunthorpe United are hoping to secure at least two new signings over the next seven days.
Iron boss Alan Knill is ready to swoop for one player before the Newcastle United clash on Thursday, believed to be on loan, with another following by the weekend.

Scunthorpe United boss Alan Knill is keen to add new players to his squad.
"We have got someone in today," said Knill in his press conference.
"He just hasn't signed the contracts yet.
"Hopefully we are going to try to get someone else, or maybe a couple, before the weekend, for the game against (Sheffield) Wednesday.
"We are low on numbers. With all the games, we are picking up a few injuries so we need a stronger squad.
"But we will just have to wait and see.
"I am looking to strengthen everywhere."

“This time it's going to happen.
Not even Knill would come out with such strong statements if it wasn't a done deal - I just hope it is a striker!”
