Scunthorpe Utd: Iron confirm Walker signing
Midfielder Josh Walker has signed for Scunthorpe United on a month's emergency loan deal.
The 22-year-old Watford player has spent the past few weeks training with the Iron and had originally hoped to sign a permanent contract until the end of the season.

NEW ARRIVAL: Midfielder Josh Walker has joined the Iron on a month's emergency loan deal
However, having already turned out for the Hornets and on loan at Stevenage, FIFA rules prevent him from playing for a third club.
Although players can register for three teams during a campaign, they can only play for a maximum of two when classed as a permanent signing or on a standard loan.
Emergency loans do not count towards the two-club rule, meaning Walker should now go straight into the squad for United's trip to Colchester tomorrow.
The former England Under-20 skipper started out at Middlesbrough, before joining Watford in summer 2010.
With first-team appearances limited at Vicarage Road, he has spent two spells on loan at Stevenage – scoring against the Iron in a 2-1 defeat for the hosts earlier this season – as well as Northampton.

“If Watford and Walker cancel his contract would he become a "free agent" and be able to sign and play for the Iron ?? It beggars belief that clubs dont know the rules on transfer matters.”

“The current rules state that while a player can register for three clubs during a season he can only play for a maximum two clubs. This rule applies to both permanent signings and standard loans.”
