Scunthorpe Utd: Knill - Norwood's going to have 'really good career'
Manager Alan Knill has good news for those fans who've been impressed with their brief glimpses of Manchester United midfielder Oliver Norwood – he's going to get even better.
The 20-year-old Red Devil, who is a week into a six-month loan deal with Scunthorpe United, had only been with the Iron for a matter of days when he flew out to Serbia to join up with the Northern Ireland Under-21 squad on Tuesday, yet he has already played 210 minutes of competitive action.

EARLY PROMISE: Oliver Norwood
Norwood starred during last week's narrow Carling Cup exit at the hands of Newcastle United and though quieter on Saturday, was diligent and tidy with the ball during his side's 3-2 defeat at Sheffield Wednesday.
Knill believes there is still much more to come from the former Carlisle United loanee, who has spent much of the past two seasons playing for Manchester United's reserves.
"We've known him for two years," said the Scunthorpe boss.
"Probably a year or a year-and-a-half ago, he was a bit heavy and couldn't get around the pitch.
"He's done so much work to get himself fit and give himself a chance of a career. I think he's going to have a really good career.
"He can pass it and he moves the ball around the pitch. He's never afraid to have it.
"Someone asked me the other day about Manchester United – they don't have too many poor players.
"We're pretty lucky to get him, he's a good footballer.
"He's just maturing, but he needs to play in somebody's first team to really see how good he is.
"That's the reason why we were able to have him, because they know we'll give him the ball and let him play.
"I'm looking forward to seeing more of him.
"He's got an enthusiasm about him. I'm quite sure he's only going to get better."
Norwood has vowed to do everything he can to fulfil his manager's optimism when he returns from international duty.
Currently in Serbia for an U/21 European Championship qualifier, the midfielder missed Tuesday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy win over Hartlepool and is also away for Saturday's clash with Colchester.
He has though admitted he has enjoyed his early taste of life with the Iron and cannot wait to return for the game with Sheffield United in a week's time.
"It's been brilliant. I'm loving it at the minute and it's been great to have already got a couple of 90 minutes under my belt," said Norwood.
"I just hope I can keep building on my performances and get better and better."
