Scunthorpe Utd: Knill believes Wint will benefit from loan spell
As a big believer in youth development, Scunthorpe United boss Alan Knill hopes teenage striker Aron Wint will benefit from a spell away from Glanford Park.
The 19-year-old, who is in his first year as a professional, has gone on a month's loan to Evo-Stik League First Division South side Belper Town,

LOAN MOVE: Aron Wint has joined Belper Town for a month
"It's to get him some games, and also, men's football," said Knill.
"We want him to play in men's football.
"At lot of the games now at reserve team level are one youth team playing against another youth team. A lot of teams don't play the pros.
"We felt it would give him more benefit going to play in men's football and see how he develops in that.
"When Belper came on to us we had no hesitation.
"We'll watch him and monitor him and hopefully it will be good for his development.
"We're hopeful as well, if he does really well, then there might be another level for him to go at.
"The good thing is, when we asked him, he had no hesitation whatsoever in going to play at Belper, which is really good.
"It shows a great attitude, he wants to learn and he wants to develop.
"We explained why and he sees it as part of his development, and it is."
Meanwhile, the Iron have also confirmed the extension of keeper Sam Johnstone's loan from Manchester United.
Johnstone will now stay at Glanford Park until January 10.

“There are 4 or 5 others we need to loan out on a full time basis until their contracts expire.”
