Scunthorpe Utd: Lillis could be missing for three months
Scunthorpe United are hoping to sign a goalkeeper on loan in the next 48 hours – with Manchester United rookie Sam Johnstone at the top of their shopping list.
Manager Alan Knill has been forced into the transfer market after learning that Josh Lillis has joined the club's injury list and could be sidelined for up to three months.

SIDELINED: Josh Lillis
The 24-year-old suffered ligament damage when colliding with Colchester United striker Steven Gillespie in the move from which the U's equalised to secure a 1-1 draw last weekend.
He went for a scan on the problem earlier in the week, with the results providing the worst possible news.
"It's disappointing for Josh because he's been number one and is just beginning to establish himself in that position," said general manager David Beeby.
"He'll hope to be back quicker, but in the meantime we need someone to step in to act as cover."
Although the Iron are remaining tight-lipped on who that person may be, it's almost certain to be Johnstone.
Yesterday the 18-year-old used social networking site Twitter to say his move to Glanford Park had all but been completed.
He wrote: "Three-month loan move to Scunthorpe United should do me the world of good. #EXCITED."
Johnstone is currently the Academy keeper at the Premier League champions and was between the posts when they won the FA Youth Cup last season.
As well as touring America with the first-team squad during pre-season, he also played twice for Oldham Athletic in matches against Burnley and Fleetwood.
Scunthorpe hope to be able to announce his arrival today.

“Chin up Josh - plenty of years in front of you.
I would have a prefered an experienced replacement, with the chance of permantley signing to offer real competition for places once Lillis is fit but we'll see what this rookie is like on Saturday.
Up the Iron!”

“Oh dear the injury jinx strikes again,it's funny how clubs seem to have no control over other social media outlets revealing targets before they happen.Players really do rule the roost in the sad world of football.”
