Scunthorpe Utd: Norwood 'improving' during time with Iron
Manchester United's Oliver Norwood believes his spell on loan at Scunthorpe United is turning him into a better player.
The 20-year-old midfielder has played 17 times for the Iron since moving to Glanford Park in the middle of August, though will miss the next three games as a result of being sent off during last week's 3-2 loss at Notts County.

Oliver Norwood is keen to get more game time out on loan during the second half of the season.
After taking a bit of time though to adapt to League One, the Burnley-born middle man has enjoyed his experience with Scunthorpe - and won't be disappointed if he is loaned out again when his current deal expires on January 2.
"All of the young lads love going out on loan because we end up bettering ourselves during the time away," Norwood told the Premier League side's official programme, United Review.
"The manager has always put faith in youngsters. That's not going to change. I think he'd much rather bring through a player from the youth ranks than go out and buy somebody.
"Sticking around in the reserves this season wouldn't have done me any good.
"Instead, I'm experiencing life in a first-team environment, I'm playing week-in week-out... I'm really improving."

“"and won't be disappointed if he is loaned out again when his current deal expires on January 2."
That doesn't sound like he is coming back to us. Surely it would be "and won't be disappointed if his loan is renewed when his current deal expires on January 2."
Be sad to see him go somewhere else as he has looked better than most this season.”
