Scunthorpe Utd: Robertson and Byrne set to feature in behind closed doors friendly
Scunthorpe United manager Alan Knill will use this afternoon's behind closed doors friendly to give some of his sidelined senior players a run out.
Jordan Robertson will feature against Grimsby Town as he continues his recovery from a broken ankle, while club captain Cliff Byrne (back) is set to play the full 90 minutes.

RECOVERY: Jordan Robertson will feature in this afternoon's behind closed doors friendly
Fellow defenders Niall Canavan and Andrew Wright will also take part.
Knill is keeping his fingers crossed the former comes through okay as United remain tentative about the possibility of Paul Reid being fit for the weekend's FA Cup tie with AFC Wimbledon after being substituted with a groin problem in Saturday's defeat to Bournemouth.
"Canavan's not kicked a ball since last week in the reserves and needs another game," said Knill.
"We've got to take a chance that he's going to come through it.
"It's better that he plays, I think. And better for him as well, he needs to play.
"Wrighty hasn't played a game for a while so he might have half a game.
"Jordan might have 20 minutes, something like that and Cliff's going to have a full game, which is good.
"They're slowly coming back."

“Boy do we need them!!! If Reid is out then either Canavan or Cliff will do at CB and to avoid O'Connor being Cup Tied this weekend Knill may have to put Togwell back into midfield.”
