The Iron face another trip to a League Two side in the FA Cup if they overcome AFC Wimbledon in Tuesday's first round replay.

But Alan Knill is refusing to even entertain thoughts about a second round meeting with Bradford City until it becomes reality.

Scunthorpe drew 0-0 with the Wombles last weekend and the United boss says his side must do much better than they managed in south west London when the two clubs meet again next week.

"Everyone keeps talking about Bradford, but I'd rather not talk about Bradford, I'd rather talk about Wimbledon. We've got to get past them first," said Knill

"They're a decent team and at times made it difficult for us. At times though, we made it difficult for ourselves.

"I read the comments from the Wimbledon manager who said we were the best football team they'd played against. But if we were the best football team they'd played against, we should have won.

"I wasn't happy with Saturday really, because I think we should win games like that.

"Even though we made some changes and it's probably not our strongest side, I still think we should have beaten Wimbledon.

"First half we had some chances, but I've seen the stats and while we had 20 odd shots, only four were on target.

"I was happy not to lose, because they had chances, two they should really have taken, but I think we should have won comfortably and should have done more to win."

A game against the Bantams would reunite the Iron with former coaches Steve Parkin and Kevin Pressman, who were part of Ian Baraclough's management team at Glanford Park.

The duo are first-team coach and goalkeeping coach respectively at Valley Parade.
