Scunthorpe area cricketers chasing top award
Cricketers from three Scunthorpe area teams have been nominated for a coveted trophy to be awarded by the Lincolnshire County Cricket League.
It marks the most outstanding individual performance of the season in any one match.
Clubs from the county's largest league are currently voting to decide the winner, whose identity is expected to be announced early next week.
The nominations are:
Scunthorpe Town's Ram Chand - 53 and 6 for 9 from 5.2 overs against Horncastle in the premier division.

The Lincolnshire League's annual dinner and presentation of trophies will be held on Thursday, March 15 at Grimsby Town FC, when a number of Scunthorpe area clubs will be represented.
The guest speakers will be announced at a later date, together with details of how to obtain tickets.
