Scunthorpe brothers given the green light by talent group
Scunthorpe rock brothers Henry and Rupert Stansall have been taken under the wing of the company which brought The Saturdays and The Wanted to stardom.
The brothers, whose act is called Red Lights One, are currently in hush-hush talks with Robert Mackintosh, the chief executive officer of the London-based Maximum Entertainment Group.

ROCK BROTHERS: Henry and Rupert Stansall as Red Lights One
Henry told What's On: "We've been signed by Robert who is the brother of theatre producer Cameron Mackintosh.
"We are currently in the early development stage and working with hit producers, song writers and stylists to create something new and exciting.
"Maximum Entertainment specialises in developing and managing artists before taking them to the major labels. They then work with the label to get the act to the top of the charts.
"Everything is at an early stage and we have been told to keep the full details on the quiet until the project is fully developed and things start to move."
The guitar-playing singers have been wowing audiences since their sixth form days at the Sir John Nelthorpe College in Brigg, and in 2008 won the Scunthorpe Rock Open with their alternative band The Revolvers.
Meanwhile, Scunthorpe promoter and DJ Adrian Cromac is planning a summer revenge on hit star Tinie Tempah.
In 2010, the 23-year-old rapper topped the UK charts with his own song Pass Out, in which he stated he had never been to Scunthorpe.
Since then, the London-born star has resisted all efforts to come and see what the town has to offer.
The joke was taken a step further on the cult TV comedy show Never Mind The Buzzcocks last November when Tinie met a fictitious Mayor of Scunthorpe.
Now Adrian is planning to cash in with a showcase tour he has planned for this summer.
He said: "We're going to change the name of the showcase from Sunny Scunny tour to Taking It To Tinie.
"So far, two local bands, Fallen Zero and the Tripdown Project, have signed up for the tour, which will run for two weeks in June at venues across the UK."
Meanwhile, 2006 Scunthorpe Rock Open winners Silent Film Project, fresh from a recent promotional visit to Japan, are busy writing new material for an as yet un-named album.
Singer Paul Musgrave said the band would be downing their pens on February 27 to headline a show at Sheffield's brightest night spot, the £1 million Soyo. Also on the bill are Cave Painting, new band The Lionworks and Chelsea Alice Scott plus guest DJs. Admission to the show is free.
And in other news, the current Rock Open champions Little Switzerland have delayed their visit from Hull to the recording studios at the North Lindsey College in Scunthorpe until their new replacement bass guitarist has found his feet, Singer Simon Binks said an EP, single and a music video was due to be released late March following a two-day session at the Warren Studios in Hull next week.
