Scunthorpe businesses talk apprenticeships at John Leggott College
BUSINESSES from Scunthorpe are visiting John Leggott College all week to highlight opportunities for apprentices.
Apprenticeship providers will be visiting as part of National Apprenticeship Week, speaking about engineering, health and social care amongst other types of employment.

Mentors at the College will also be running application surgeries so that students can access support when applying for apprenticeships and employment.
The initiative is part of on-going work at the college to encourage young people to consider a variety of progression routes after their college studies and to enable students to obtain the transferable skills demanded by employers.

John Leggott College careers adviser, Allison Peters, said: "We recognise the high level of interest in apprenticeship opportunities and this event is designed to provide the students with all the information they need to make informed and aspirational decisions about their future."
Representatives from North Lincolnshire Training, JHP Training, Humberside Engineering Training Association, Northern Racing College, North Lindsey College, North Lincolnshire Council, Lincolnshire Co-operative Ltd, South Bank Training, KAPLAN and TATA Steel will visiting during the week.
