“Thank you prokopchuk, I must have missed that in the news I thought they said they were adding the £15 surcharge to fixed penalty tickets, never mind it might help those husbands who get abused by their wives one day.”

    “@Delboyseven

For a person born and educated in our country, your grasp of written English is appalling. So poor, that any reasonable arguments you try to make, are lost.

In my own experience, there are good and bad people from every background and nationality. I have worked with Polish people in the past and have found them to be some of the hardest working and playing folk that I have ever met, willing to do jobs that some British folk wouldn't consider getting out of bed for.

However, I have also learnt from my own experience, to trust less those people who do not have permanent roots where they live, or are part of a hidden populace. They often seem to have less vested interest in their neighbourhoods, towns and countries and can more readily dodge their legal and moral responsibilities simply by moving home.”

“To any posters who have doubts about 'foreign' drivers and driving licences, the law states that EU licences are valid for three years to anyone who is resident here, thereafter they have to apply for a GB licence, BUT if they are in posession of an EU licence which was issued in exchange for a previously issued non-EU licence , they can only drive in GB for twelve months on that licence, before having to apply for a GB licence.”

“I thought victims surcharge was £15 but nticed £15, £20, £24, £60 and one with none, has this changed or does it depend on the mood of the magistrate.”
